Traviesa Coffee is the new specialty arm of a larger Colombian exporting company, Selecto. Traviesa have onstaff Q Graders and agronomists and spend an inordinate amount of time working
with the farmers whose coffees they sell in microlots from the Manizales, Cauca, Huila, and Tolima districts. They also produce the best decafs we've ever tasted, hands down, using an ethyl acetate derived from local sugarcane in a process which they are the only South American company to use.
We are less involved in the QC process with Traviesa but are honored to be representing such outstanding coffees and varieties.
